I am not putting much text here describing our Reunion in Denver. I am leaving that up to you. Send me your experiences and feelings about the reunion. Don't forget to include any photos you want to share. Check out these two photos: Attending Group and Bravo Crew then look at the Pictures from Reunion 2003

Vern and Tom Bailey spent just over two years looking for squadron members.  They had four sources of information for names to search for.  Copies of old military orders, Morning Reports, (from the National Military Records Center ) word of mouth, and their own memory.  They had a total of 479 names to search. Of these, they personally contacted by telephone 137 individuals who had served at Langerkopf.  They compiled a telephone directory of over 800 numbers, many of which had to be called several times.  They mailed out 453 letters and sent more emails than they could calculate.  As one of the organizers perhaps Tom may be bias but he cannot call the reunion anything other than a smashing success. I must add here that I agree. Everyone who attended, including spouses, had a very enjoyable three days bonding together from the memories and comradeship from our days at the 603rd, where we all served, so many years ago.
